Open Mouth, Insert Foot

Mayor Ray "Chocolate" Nagin, feels bad about his remarks yesterday, but I do not think he should get off that easily.

He made those remarks on a day we memorialize man who once said, "I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character."

I am sure that the reverend would be pretty pissed about those remarks. The rhetoric some of the prominent African Americans over the last 15 years would not be said if the Reverend Doctor were still alive.

With people like Nagin, Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton, I fell that the Civil Rights movement is one of perpetuity. Once we achieve it, they will be out of a soapbox, then what? Nope, they keep it up and blame everything on everybody but them. Hurricanes? God is pissed at Bush for Iraq, so He is making the Black Man pay.

Please. Make. It. Stop.
